MILLWRIGHT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate
• Valid safety certifications (e.g., Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permit)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities o Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to follow instructions and perform under pressure
• Must be able to work in physically demanding environments including heights, confined spaces, high temperatures, and noisy conditions

Responsibilities:

• Install, dismantle, and align rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and motors using precision tools and techniques.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Perform repairs and part replacements as required.
• Identify mechanical failures and determine root causes.
• Resolve mechanical issues efficiently to restore equipment functionality
• Hands-on experience in a petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environment.
• Proficient in precision alignment and balancing of rotating equipment
• Skilled in using measurement instruments (e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, laser alignment tools)
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and vibration analysis

• Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
