REACH STACKER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Proven experience as a Reach Stacker Operator in a logistics, port, or shipping environment.
  • Valid operator license or certification for reach stackers.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures in container handling.
  • Physical fit to handle long hours of operating heavy machinery
  • Basic computer skills for logging container movements and reporting.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate reach stackers to move, stack, and organize containers safely and efficiently within the yard.
  • Load and unload containers onto trucks, trailers, and storage areas according to operational requirements
  • Inspect equipment before and after operation to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of container movements and locations in line with company procedures.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to traffic and yard regulations.
  • Collaborate with yard supervisors, drivers, and other logistics personnel to optimize workflow.
  • Participate in routine training and toolbox talks related to operational safety and efficiency.
