Maintenance Technician – GSE

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution in any of the below engineering disciplines:
  • Automotive
  • Electrical
  • Electronics
  • Mechanical
  • Hydraulics
  • Diesel Engine
• Degree holders with 2–4 years of experience, or Diploma holders with 4–6 years of experience in maintenance roles within the following industries:
• GSE and Cargo Workshops in other airports, baggage handling in airports
• Automobile workshops (cars, pickups, vans, small buses)
• Heavy equipment (earth moving, trucks, buses, construction, waste management, heavy material handling)
• Process & manufacturing industries (refineries, aluminium processing, food processing, automated material handling, paper & plastic products, etc.)
• Transportation industry (rail, metro, etc.)
• Recognized technical courses (Welding, Hydraulics, PLCs, Fabrication, Battery Handling, etc.)
• Training from ground support & material handling equipment suppliers, or from established automotive and component manufacturers

Responsibilities:

• Handle passengers efficiently and implement safety procedures during the flight
• Ensuring the satisfaction of passengers by answering questions and offering them assistance
• Checking cabin before take-off to ensure compliance to safety regulations
• Give the “safety” presentation in a well-prepared manner

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
