STOREKEEPER

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• A construction storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the safe storage of materials, and maintaining accurate records to support construction operations.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and supplies.
• Ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that materials are organized and easily accessible.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels and usage to assist in budgeting and planning.
• Material Inspection: Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, ensuring they meet project specifications before acceptance.
• Order Management: Prepare and submit purchase orders for materials as needed, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all materials are stored safely and securely, adhering to safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and damage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to ensure that materials are available when needed and that any issues are promptly addressed
