AUTO PARTS ADVISOR (LIGHT VEHICLE)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in automotive parts advising, inventory, or dealership operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle layouts, automotive spare parts, and parts catalogues.
- Familiarity with computerized inventory systems and stock control procedures.
- Ability to identify, locate, and prepare automotive parts based on customer and workshop requirements.
- Knowledgeable in stock replenishment and inventory monitoring.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership or automotive parts environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software systems.
- Physically fit and capable of handling automotive parts and warehouse activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers, workshop staff, and service departments with automotive parts inquiries and requests.
- Identify and prepare vehicle parts accurately based on customer orders and repair requirements.
- Check availability of stock using parts catalogues and computerized inventory systems.
- Maintain proper stock control and monitor inventory levels regularly.
- Ensure consumables and service parts are replenished promptly to support workshop operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse personnel regarding stock availability and deliveries.
- Organize and maintain automotive parts storage areas for easy access and accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and process parts orders, invoices, and related documentation.
- Support retail and trade customers by providing efficient and professional parts service.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness within the parts department and storage areas.
