INSPECTOR QC MECHANICAL

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of piping, static and rotating equipment, tanks, and other mechanical systems.
  • Verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, and international codes (ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO).
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control Procedures.
  • Witness welding activities, review WPS/PQR, and verify welder qualifications.
  • Perform dimensional inspections, hydrostatic tests, pneumatic tests, and NDT coordination.
  • Inspect materials for proper certification, identification, and traceability.
  • Monitor installation of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
  • Ensure adherence to proper torqueing, alignment, and installation practices.
  • Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test certificates, and turnover dossiers.
  • Participate in mechanical completion and pre-commissioning inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety rules and permit-to-work system
