INSPECTOR SCAFFOLDING

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect scaffolding structures during erection, modification, and dismantling to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Verify scaffolding is built in accordance with drawings, design specifications, and load requirements.
  • Conduct scaffold tagging and maintain inspection records.
  • Ensure scaffolding materials, fittings, and boards are safe, certified, and suitable for use.
  • Identify and report unsafe practices, hazards, or structural defects, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with scaffold supervisors and foremen to ensure safe work practices.
  • Provide guidance to scaffolding crews on correct erection techniques and safety measures.
  • Conduct periodic and ad-hoc scaffold inspections as per project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (BS EN 12811, OSHA, ISO) and comp
  • Prepare inspection reports, daily logs, and documentation for audits.
  • Support safety toolbox talks and scaffold safety training initiatives.
