STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and review structural components for refinery buildings, pipe racks, equipment foundations, and other plant structures.
  • Conduct structural assessments, inspections, and integrity evaluations of existing refinery structures.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with codes (API, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.). Support project teams in developing cost estimates, material take-offs, and construction schedules.
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project engineering teams to ensure design compatibility.
  • Provide technical support during construction, fabrication, and installation of structural systems.
  • Investigate structural failures, recommend corrective actions, and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
  • Assist in turnaround, shutdown, and maintenance planning by assessing structural requirements.
  • Review and approve contractor and vendor structural engineering deliverables.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and refinery operational standards.
