Fashion Buyer

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Fashion Buyer, preferably in menswear
  • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction
  • Excellent analytical skills; experienced in interpreting sales data and managing margins and pricing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision
  • Skilled in vendor negotiation and communication
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management; able to work under pressure
  • Strong fashion sense and market awareness
  • Effective collaborator across planning, design, and marketing teams

Responsibilities:

  • Leads range planning and trend forecasting to align product selections with current fashion directions.
  • Manages the full buying cycle from product sourcing, selection, budgeting, order placement, and vendor coordination.
  • Tracks key metrics like Rate of Sale (ROS), Buy Mix vs. Sale Mix, and Open-To-Buy (OTB) plans to optimize purchasing decisions
