DIESEL MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years as a Diesel Mechanic working on fleet vehicles/trailers etc.
• Trade Qualified – Mechanic/Diesel Fitter
• Qualification in operating Heavy Vehicles
• Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Must be at least a graduate of 1-year vocational course or Completed at least 1 year in college.
• Strong diagnostic ability and resourcefulness in resolving faults quickly and effectively
• Meticulous in inspections, reporting, and repairs.
• Capable of effective English communication, both written and verbal.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of earthmoving machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
• Conduct on site and workshop servicing
• Inspect and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Independently identify required parts and handle parts ordering efficiently
• Accurately interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and preventive maintenance
