HVAC Technician (manufacturing)

Qualifications

  • Diploma in industrial electrical, RAC, engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in refrigeration and air-con industry.

Responsibilities

  • Operation and maintenance of production machinery such as blowers, injection machine, air compressor, air dryer, cooling tower, water chiller,
    bowl cutter, steam room, vacuum sealer.
  • Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance and frequency schedules.
  • Servicing electrical equipment and mechanical equipment.
  • Replacement of defective parts and commissioning
  • Monitoring of all instruments, gauges, actuators, temperature and pressure
  • Troubleshooting, re-wiring of control panel and upgrading.
  • Installation of servo motor, servo amplifier, VFD drive, proximity sensor, photo sensor, pneumatic valve, hydraulic valve
  • Checking belt tension, gear box, rotary union
  • Basic working in PLC programming and modification make and manage logs or reports for all repairs and maintenance of company machines.
  • Ensure that all factory machines including filler machines, vacuum bowl cutter, smoke house, cooling tower, generator and boiler are in good
    condition to minimize prolonged downtime.
  • Maintenance of the freezer and aircon equipment in supermarkets and storage.
