IT MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an it manager, preferably in the retail industry,
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field ( mba/m.Sc. Is a plus)
• Strong background in network and systems administration, including cisco, fortinet, microsoft, vmware, and sql server
• Proven leaderships and project management skills, with excellent communication and analytical abilities
• Hands- on experience in it infrastructure, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery planning

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain and administer company’s technology infrastructure, and application systems to ensure maximum operating performance and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and training to the it team, develop and implement it policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, dr/bcp standards, purchasing, and service provision.
• Work closely with it vendors in png and in australia. Negotiate and administer vendor contracts and service level agreements.. Maintain all software and support licenses
• Lead it projects, including the design and deployment of new it systems and services, support and optimize systems backups, bcp/dp and testing.
• Liaise with the management team to understand business strategy and challenges and provide technology to help support the business’s plans
• Communication and interact with the group it team in australia and collaborate where appropriate
