DRAFTSMAN

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) – required
  • Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., ArtCAM, Fusion 360, Aspire) is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of file preparation for CNC routers and laser cutting machines
  • Understanding of material properties (wood, MDF, acrylic, metals), Ability to assist in basic machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience in operating CNC routers and/or laser cutting machines (is an advantage)

Responsibilities:

  • Create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings for CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Interpret design concepts and transform them into machine-ready files (G-code or compatible formats).
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
  • Prepare cutting paths and optimize material usage for wood, acrylic etc, Support in machine setup and calibration if needed.
  • Maintain an organized library of drawings and files for recurring projects.
