Endoscopy Nurse

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience , preferably in endoscopy

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document patients condition before , during, and after the procedures
• Ensure that all endoscopy equipment’s is cleaned and sterilized before use
• Assisting doctors during the procedures by handling the endoscopy or other tools
• Preparing the instrument equipment and supplies for the procedure
• Collecting tissue samples needed for laboratory analysis
• Answering patients questions and addressing their concern
• Observing patient vital sign
• Sedating patients before procedures
• Recovering patients after procedure
• Administering the necessary medication to patients
• Keeping the patients informed throughout the duration of the procedure
• Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents

• Certificate of Employment ( if available)
