ARBORIST

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • High School Graduate (completed 4 yrs in High School) not ALS; plus 1 yr vocational course or college level completed 1st and 2nd semester

Responsibilities:

  • Tree Assessment & Care – Inspect trees to diagnose diseases, pest infestations, structural weaknesses, decay. Recommend appropriate
  • treatments including pruning, removal, bracing, or pest control. Perform hazard assessments & issue tree condition
  • Tree Pruning & Removal Conduct skilled pruning to improve tree health, appearance, and safety. Safely remove hazardous, dead, or unwanted
    trees using climbing equipment or elevated work platforms (EWPs). Operate chainsaws, wood chippers,, etc
  • Planting & Transplanting Select appropriate species for planting based on climate, soil, and location. Conduct planting and transplanting of trees
    with proper techniques to ensure long-term survival.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain accurate logs of work performed, including site assessments and maintenance schedules. Submit reports
    and documentation to councils or private clients as required.

  • Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
  • Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
  • 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
