CNC MACHINIST
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in machining, fitting, and assembly, with a focus on precision engineering
- Must be a graduate of at least a 1-year vocational course or have completed at least 1 year in college.
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with various materials including steel, alloys, and non-ferrous metals.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is preferred
- Proficient in using a variety of measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Skilled in both manual and CNC machining across diverse equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities; leadership potential a plus
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards with Valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of manual and CNC machines, including:
- Horizontal Borers (e.g., Union, Tos, Ajax, Mitseiki, Stanko)
- Vertical Borers (e.g., Webster & Bennett)
- Lathes (e.g., Mazak, Swift, Zerbst, Macson, Colchester, Ryazan, Okuma
- Perform machining tasks based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Manufacture, fit, and assemble components with high precision and tight tolerances.
- Handle both manual and CNC machining operations (including 4-axis horizontal lathes, 4-axis vertical machining centers, and Fanuc
controllers). - Conduct dimensional checks using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform maintenance.
- Uphold strict safety and quality control standards in all tasks.
