Mechanical Equipment Assembler (PUMP TECHNICIAN)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Vocational Course related to Mechanical, Mechanical Technology or any other related field. with TESDA NC2 for Mechanical
• Preferred Minimum of 3 years with proven experience as a Pump Technician. Familiarity with API 675 and 674 standards.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in pump assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Assemble pumps according to Engineering specifications.
• Use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure precise and secure assembly.
• Inspect and verify components for quality and conformity before assembly
• Set up and operate the pump test bench to perform test on assembled pumps.
• Conduct tests in accordance with API 675 and 674 standards to ensure pumps meet required performance criteria.
• Monitor test parameters, record data and interpret test results.
• Identify and address any defects or issues during the assembly and testing process.
• Work closely quality control teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Document test results and prepare detailed reports for review.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment and tools
• Ensure the test bench and assembly area are kept clean and organized
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations
