Lift and Escalator Installer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Capable to provide COE for the said position
• With at least 2 years of advanced skills and work experience in installing, programming, and diagnosing elevators, escalators, and travelators.
• Proficient in welding and bolting steel rails/brackets in shafts.
• With experience in working safely with scaffolding inside elevator shafts.
• Skilled in running electrical wiring and connecting control/operational panels and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced qualification and high-level skills in the area of elevator, escalator and travelator installations, programming, diagnosing faults and
  providing necessary fixes using necessary tools and machines.
• Perform smart tests on newly installed equipment to ensure that they meet the established specifications and working parameters such as
  stopping at floors for set amounts of time. Diagnose and accurately locate malfunctions in brakes, motors,
• Inspect, assess and evaluate construction projects and particularly shafts to determine compliance, prepare operational reports to confirm
  installation readiness.
• Run electrical wiring, connect to control and operational panels ad systems, adjust safety and controls, counterweights, door mechanism, valves,
  ratchets, seals, brake linings and related components.
• Be fluent in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and other related blueprints, record operational environment characteristics, be fluent in all aspects of maintaining electrical and electronics systems.
• Possess some knowledge on welding side of things and be able to bolt steel rails and brackets in the shaft, have clear knowledge on working with
  scaffoldings inside the shaft.
• Train and develop team members through a structured training model that will equip them with necessary knowledge and skills to work on
  installation, repairs and diagnosis tasks independently.
