Pastry Assistant

Qualifications:

• With at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the baking and pastry industry.
• High School Graduate / ALS Certified.
• Holder of TESDA NC II in Bread and Pastry Production.
• Possesses a good command of English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty desserts.
• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Operate basic bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, sheeters, and proofers under supervision.
• Support in portioning, molding, decorating, and packing finished products.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management by organizing ingredients, supplies, and finished products.
• Conduct basic quality checks on raw materials and finished goods, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Work efficiently in a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Pastry Supervisor or Production Manager.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
