Sous Chef

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe).
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and techniques.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. • Police clearance required. • International driver’s license required
• Minimum of 5 years experience as Sous Chef

Responsibilities:

• The Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes, and maintaining excellent kitchen organization and hygiene.
• The role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, contributing to menu development, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
