ASNT RDT LEVEL II RT

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in Pipe Mill or similar industry in NDT field
• Saudi ARAMCO previous or existing approval American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Certificate as RT level;
• Prior experience as an NDT Level I technician or relevant field experience with basic NDT principles
• Thorough understanding of radiographic principles, film processing techniques, radiation safety procedures, and interpretation of radiographic images
• Prior experience performing radiographic inspections in a relevant industry
• Ability to clearly document findings, communicate effectively with engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skill;
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; A
• bility to work independently and as part of a team; Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Performs advanced Radiographic (RT) Inspections ( welds, castings and other components) on materials and components, independently setting up and calibrating equipment
• Interpreting radiographic film or digital images, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
• Setting up, operating, and calibrating radiographic equipment, including X-ray sources, film cassettes, and exposures device
• Analyzing radiographic films or digital images to identify defects like cracks, porosity, and inclusions
• Accurately documenting inspection findings, including location, size and severity, and generating detailed reports
• Adhering to quality standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client specifications including radiation safety protocols
• Assisting with troubleshooting equipment issues and providing technical expertise to other team members
