Plumber Assistant (Drain Layer)

Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of work experience, preferably from overseas
  • Can provide certificate of employment supporting the work experience
  • With good level of English communication
  • With valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

  • Sound knowledge of all Plumbing and Pipe Fitting aspects.
  • Ability to work with different types of piping and the different processes to fit these pipes.
  • Installation experience of hot (approx. 82 degrees) and cold (approx. 6 degrees) water piping used to heat and cool buildings.
  • Knowledge of reading and designing pipework plans for all building heating and cooling pipework.
  • Ability to install piping for both overhead and underground.
  • Fabricating experience preferred.
  • Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
  • Setting out and installing hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment.
  • Installing water-based fire protection systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels, and sprinkler systems.
  • Designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes, and sanitary fixtures.
  • Fabricating and installing soil and waste stacks.
  • Assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling, and conditioning equipment, as well as small bore heating systems.
  • Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.
  • Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.
  • Installing gas appliances, flues, and pressure regulating devices.
  • Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods, and flashings.
