QC Inspector
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline or undergraduate of any Engineering courses for at least 4th year.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in quality control or related field is preferred
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a plastic products manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and statistical process control (SPC) methods.
- Familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes, materials, and related quality standards.
- Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and optical comparators
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials and components for quality, including proper labeling, documentation, and conformance to specifications
- Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and rectify quality issues, provide guidance on quality standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis and participate in problem-solving activities to address quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control documents, inspection procedures, and work instructions.
- Communicate quality-related findings, recommendations, and trends to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and advancements in quality control techniques for plastic product manufacturing
