TELECOMMUNICATION TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering or similar fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Working at heights to ensure the proper installation of tower components and ensuring that tower operations are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Install, maintain, and repair telecommunication tower infrastructure, including antennas, cables, and transmission equipment
  • They also troubleshoot and configure electronics, wiring, and other related technologies
  • Establishes voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables; installing telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression systems
  • Building ironwork and ladder racks; establishing connections; programming features
