SENIOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years experience hands in in assembling and dismantling, repairing, troubleshooting of the Heavy equipment (Starter motors, panels, sensors, engine and machine control module, switches etc)
  • Ability to read/understand manuals and assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Sufficient knowledge in quality and safety standards/procedures for assembling and dissembling for machine major components
  • Experience in any authorized dealer of major heavy equipment brands
  • Ensure that all safety precautions for protections against accidents are being observed and carried out accordingly

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out the auto electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of the heavy equipment in field and the workshop
  • To read technical manuals, schematics and auto-electric control circuit diagrams
  • Wiring of the control panels in control circuits in heavy equipment for hydraulic control valves, pumps, auto shift transmission in common diesel engines.
  • Must be familiar with the calibration procedure for LMI/RCI system for cranes, Telehandlers etc.
  • Communicate with Team leaders and Management, prepare inspection and break down reports, electrical test reports and identification of the required spares for repairs.
  • Help establish and maintain safety standards complying with the Company’s Health & Safety and Management System requirements.
