HORIZONTAL BORING MACHINIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant machining position
• Diploma in a relevant field
• Experience operating horizontal boring machines
• Proficiency in machine set-up, programming, and machining
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Fagor CNC controllers
• Experience working with parts up to 2 meters in size
• Ability to verify dimensions and ensure product accuracy using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to work on a day or evening shift (40 hours per week)
• Experience working with various materials, including steel, plastic, cast iron, and bronze
