PROCESS AND PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in engineering maintenance, preferably in a production environment.
- Technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical engineering systems, with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, diverse environment.
- Basic interest in the circular economy and recycling.
- Basic IT skills – familiar with Microsoft suite.
Responsibilities:
- Support general operatives in day to day running of the plant.
- Drive machinery (Training provided) loading and unloading material
- Operate static machinery and plant through SCADA system
- Manage daily maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- React to breakdowns, fault finding equipment and system issues employing engineering principles and data-driven analysis.
- Lead new tool debugging, setup, and validation processes.
- Optimize processes using Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical methods to improve performance and quality.
- Maintain stringent control over the quality and capability of processes, including necessary documentation.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to Production Technicians.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the installation and validation of new processes and line upgrades.
- Coordinate with contracted maintenance services, supervising and ensuring quality compliance.
- Promote safety and environmental standards, implementing continuous improvements and addressing any related incidents or issues.
- Support the Engineering Team to maintain facilities, utilities, and equipment up to legal, divisional, and corporate standards.
