Heavy Automotive Electrician
Qualifications:
- Trade Certificate in Auto-Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Automotive Engineering industry
- Knowledge of EFI engine will be an advantage
- Apprenticeship qualification would be an advantage
- Be computer literate to enable electrical diagnostic when required
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Highly motivated, reliable, honest and punctual
- Must have a valid driving license
Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in vehicles
- Diagnose, repair and replacement of electronics and electrical components
- Identify and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems
- Able to install electronic components
- Assist Apprentices and Attachment Trainees when required
- Carry out vehicle wiring as per safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain an open mindset of networking that brings business opportunities to the company
- Test machines for any additional repairs needed
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers and co-workers
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
