Our employer Jash Technical Services is in need of the following:

PAVEMENT SME

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Experience in construction and maintenance of pavements
• It can be advantageous to become a Certified Pavement Analyst (CPA) or an Associate of the Institute of Asphalt Technology (AIAT)
• Have experience in maintenance of the pavements at the airports

Responsibilities:

• In-depth understanding of pavement design principles, including materials, structural analysis, and construction methods for different types of pavements (asphalt, concrete).
• Knowledge of airport-specific pavement systems, including runways, taxiways, and aprons, and their unique design and maintenance requirements
• Expertise in pavement maintenance techniques, including crack sealing, resurfacing, and rehabilitation methods to extend pavement life and ensure safety
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards related to pavement construction and maintenance, such as those set by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
• Expertise in designing and evaluating pavement structures, including load-bearing capacity, drainage considerations, and material selection
• Proficiency in conducting inspections and testing of pavement materials and finished surfaces to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards
• Experience in developing and implementing pavement maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance strategies and scheduled repairs
• Ability to perform technical analysis of pavement performance, including assessing damage, determining causes, and recommending solutions
• Ensure that NOTAMS are issued when maintenance (Preventive or Corrective) is carried out
• Inspect the new pavements or upgraded pavements and prepare the deficiency list
• Evaluate the need for crack filling, joint filing, slurry seal, de-rubberizing, or grooving program
