ENROLLED NURSE
Qualifications:
- Exposed in a Medical Surgical Ward or General Ward (Rotation)
- Willing to Work Rotating Shift
Job Description:
- Participate in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of goal-oriented nursing care activities to a group of assigned patients.
- Perform designated procedures and treatments for patients according to expected standards of practice and guidelines to improve their general comfort and wellbeing autonomy and independence of the patient.
- Assist in discharge planning activities.
- Observe and practice proper infection control procedures based on current infection prevention knowledge and skills. Actively seeks to prevent transmission of infection.
- Work in collaboration with the Staff Nurse to prioritise and organise care to meet the treatment and rehabilitative needs of patients.
- Record informative, accurate and concise statements on the nursing care rendered to the patient.
- Assist the doctor and nursing staff during treatments and examination of the patient.
- Assist in carer’s training and basic health teaching of patients and their families.
- Provide orientation and guidance to the less experienced staff members.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal relations with the colleagues, patients and public.
- Participate in any and all activities related to the smooth running of the ward and works co-operatively with fellow colleagues to achieve effective patient service.
- Provide and maintain clean, safe and a rehabilitative environment for patient.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all equipment / instruments, surgical items and material, medical packs / sets, linen and rations in the ward.
- Accompany patients to various hospitals/ departments as assigned.
- Assist in reception duties and clerical tasks in the absence of Ward Clerk.
Requirements:

- Passport valid for more than 3 years preferred (or proof of passport release)
- NBI clearance (valid or with proof of release)
- Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
- PEOS certificate
- Vax Certificate
