Mechanical Technician (Brake System) for Rolling Stock Vehicle (Train)

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical or Related Course for Rolling Stock/ heavy equipment repair/ computer system/ machine operations
• Minimum 3 years of experience / training and practical experience working with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic system of a Rolling Stock vehicle
• Must have a good knowledge of one or two train sub- systems such as Brake system, traction, TCMS, etc.
• Able to read and understand schematic and drawings of the pneumatic.
• Fast learner and able to understand the train functionality
• Able to work on shift rotation

Job Description:

• Performs on-train preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of Pneumatic and Brake parts.
• Performs overhauling and reconditioning of the pneumatic and brake parts and test them in a test bench.
• Operate testing machine and able to evaluate the results.
• After installation of the overhauled parts if part of the overhaul process, to operate and carry out static tests according to the maintenance instruction.
• Troubleshooting, Fault finding from the train in electrical and mechanical aspects especially pneumatic system.ruiters and human traffickers.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
