Heavy Repair Workshop Manager for Rolling Stock Vehicle (Train)

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Mechanical Engineering degree
• More than 8 years of experience
• Knowledge of Wheel repairing
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Fluent English (Writing, listening & speaking)
• High level of integrity, respect and courtesy; taking into account standards of confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills

Job Description:

• Understand the wheel replacement process
• Wheel mount and dismount process
• Bogie refurbishment works
• Bearing box replacement of axle set
• Develop the schedule for wheel replacement program
• Monitoring the wheel near and life cycle of the wheels
• Preparation of wheels and axle (crew set) for replacement program
• Manpower planning for the team
• Managing the HRW operations actively for the complete overhaul of the units
• Lead the team for training and improvement

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
