Maintenance Engineer – Rail Electrification

Qualifications:

• Has a bachelor’s degree or diploma in an appropriate technical field and five years of work experience
• Has experience of testing & commissioning in AC/DC substations projects and preferably in the public transportation business
• Has a good command of both the spoken and written English language Has good computer skills Has supervisory skills Has good knowledge in used tools and equipment

Responsibilities:

• Acting as team lead steering the crew within the REL section services.
• Working as a technical expert within REL system service
• Reports to Maintenance Supervisor
• Supervises technicians and workers, Supervise PM & CM Activity, Planning of shifts and work during shift.
• Maintenance planning, Execution of maintenance and repair activities of the relevant equipment according to work plan and maintenance manuals
• Responsibility for the quality of the work of his crew, Assessment of competencies.
• Supervision of maintenance activity during his shift, Carry out scheduled testing of plant
• Ensure system healthiness after any breakdown by completing required testing and commissioning checks.
• Team Building by sharing knowledge and experience
• Promotes team culture in day to day activities
• Deputy to Maintenance supervisor in his absence.
• Responsibility for the safety of the work of his subordinates and the used equipment and tools
• Following the applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
