Forklift Operator (Freight; Counter-Balance FO)

Qualifications:

• Meeting set loading and unloading deadlines whilst maintaining safety and zero damages
• Ensure all measurables regarding; scanning, damages, DIFOT, safety, pallets are met.
• All freight is Checked, Weighed and Cubed (CWC) and any anomalies reported to the supervisor.
• Co-operate and adhere to all Northline policies, procedures and guidelines whilst promoting the Northline vision and values to achieve organisational goals
• No dunnage and load restraint equipment left inside of units and all dunnage recorded as per procedure

Job Description:

• Solid experience loading and unloading freight that is: oversized, ugly, long lengths, general, non-palletise
  Current and valid Class LF Forklift License (High Risk Work License).
• Suitable physical ability to handle repetitive lifting (manual handling) of freight up to 20kgs
• Proven ability to visualize and plan the load.
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised coupled with a proactive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Previous experience working towards targets and deadlines
