Qualifications:

To qualify for this job you must have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Vehicle Trimmer or Vehicle Upholsterer
• Proficiency in upholstery techniques, sewing, and working with various materials
• Solid experience in installation and repairs of vehicle’s interior trim such as seats, linings, floor coverings and door trims
• Work experience with a variety of materials, including leather, fabric, vinyl and foam, to create or restore upholstery, headliners, door panels, carpeting, and other interior elements
• Documents to support your visa application (passport, police clearances, employment evidences including reference letters, salary evidences such as pay slips or government contribution records, and school records)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Good English communication skills

Responsibilities:

Some common tasks that you may have to perform include:

• Remove and disassemble existing interior components, such as seats, door panels, and carpeting.
• Repair or replace damaged upholstery, headliners, or other interior surfaces.
• Measure, cut, and sew fabric, leather, or other materials to create custom upholstery or covers.
• Install or replace seat covers, carpeting, headliners, and door panels.
• Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and attachment of all interior components.
• Utilize various tools and equipment, such as sewing machines, trimmers, adhesives, and hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the safe storage of materials and equipment.
• Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and materials related to vehicle trimming.
