Duties and Responsibilities 

•  Performs direct care like assisting patients in the maintain rnpersonal hygiene 
• Removes all used or discontinued equipment from patient rnareas and cleans and return them to the utility area 
•  Checks and receives articles from outgoing aide 
• Assists in the admission, transfer and discharge of patients 
• Gives bath, applies ice packs hot and cold compress to rnpatients 
• Performs post mortem care 
• Gives or perform simple treatment like perineal care, SS rnenema, cleansing enema and shaves patients prior to rnsurgery 
•  Measures fluid intake and output 
•  Takes chart vital signs 
• Assist physician with minor procedures and physical rnexamination of patient
