We are seeking skilled and experienced Window Glaziers to join one of our clients in Australia!

WINDOW GLASS INSTALLER (GLAZIER)

As a Window Glazier, you will play a pivotal role in the installation, repair and maintenance of various types of windows, contributing to the successful completion of projects and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Window Glazier
• Experience in window installation, repair and glazing techniques
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping glass, as well as using tools and equipment related to glazing
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, including proper handling of glass and adherence to safety protocols
• Documents to support your visa application (passport, police clearances, employment evidences including reference letters, salary evidences such as pay slips or government contribution records, and school records)
• Work portfolios (photos and/or videos)
• Good English communication skills

Job Description:

• May coat, cut, etch, trim and treat glass to achieve special effects
• Smoothing rough edges using belt sanders and smoothing wheels
• Installing glass and mirrors in windows, skylights, display cases, interior walls and ceilings
• Breaking off sheets and excess glass with notched tools and glass pliers
• Cutting along patterns and templates
• Examining glass and marking defective areas
• Measuring and marking glass for cutting
• Laying glass over patterns on padded tables and in jigs
• Determining type and dimensions of glass required
