Welding Foreman

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Plans, assigns, schedules, and supervises the work of skilled and trades helper subordinates on pump repairs, machinework, welding, cutting, brazing, steam fitting, and pipe insulation repair and installation projects.
• Supervises the installation, repair, and maintenance of the university steam distribution lines.
• Lays out and supervises the cutting and fitting of material in preparation for welding.
• Prepares cost estimates of labor and material; orders supplies, material, and equipment.
