WELDER (FRP/RTR)

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as WELDER FRP/RTR
• Familiarity with resin systems (polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy) and fiberglass materials.
• Knowledge of relevant welding and lamination standards and practices.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
• TESDA Cert in FRP welding or lamination techniques (required WELDER, NC2 CERT).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and join FRP or RTR pipes and fittings using hand lay-up, filament winding, or butt-and-wrap techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, quality standards, and applicable codes (e.g., ASTM, ISO, ASME RTP-1).
• Perform surface preparation and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion and bonding.
• Mix and apply resin systems, catalysts, and fiberglass reinforcements accurately.
• Conduct lamination, patching, and repair of FRP or RTR structures as required.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect completed welds and joints for defects, strength, and alignment.
