Styrofoam Carvers / Sculpturists

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Foams, woods glues and other materials
• Extensive knowledge sculpting equipment, it’s maintenance and operation
• Skills to build frames from any required materials and proficiency in all relevant sculpting techniques
• Ability to work as a part of a team on projects that require many different skills and tend to be complex and part of a larger whole
• Skills to establish priorities work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems

Responsibilities:

• Sculps and finishes projects so they are ready for painting / coating, joining blocks & slices together to form a larger sculpt
• Responsible for cleaning your production area.
• Sculps to the highest standards at considerable speed under the supervision of the Sculpting supervisor
• Attending various meetings, production, preplanning and others as needed
• Independently starting and finishing any sculpting assignments
• Operating and maintaining sculpting assignments and keeping your work area clean and organized
• Keeping track of supplies used and completing time sheets accurately and on time (by the end of the next day)
• Maintaining the sculpting equipment (especially your own) and perform other related duties as required
