Staff Nurse

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct, professional nursing care to a specified population of patients in an inpatient or an outpatient setting.
• Administers prescribed medications, applies sterile dressings, performs phlebotomy, and monitors vital signs.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments

Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Hospital was established in 1995 and is run by a team of highly qualified medical consultants and consultant doctors, while the care of outpatients and the treatment of inpatients is provided by a group of resident doctors and consultants supported by qualified nurses.

The hospital has 12 outpatient clinics: general medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, general surgery, children and newborns, internal endoscopy, oral and dental surgery, ENT surgery, urology, dermatology and reproductive diseases, orthodontics, heart, eyes, orthopedics and joint surgery.

It also has a 24-hour emergency department sponsored by qualified doctors and nurses to provide all kinds of emergency care.

It has 82 beds, a intensive care unit, an isolated room for infectious diseases, two operating rooms with a recovery and control room, a women’s and obstetrics operating room, a 24-hour medical laboratory and a 24-hour pharmacy.
