Job Vacancy: Sr. Structural Design Engineer

Sr. Structural Design Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent acceptable by User Organization.
• Passing National Licensure or equivalent would be beneficial
• Knowledgeable in structural design calculation related software (preference in STAAD-Pro)
• Shall be well verse with International Building Codes, ACI 318, ASD, L&RFD, AISC, ASCE 7 and other Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards
• 12 years of experience from the date of qualification in design and engineering office as structural design engineer

Responsibilities:

• Direct the preparation of calculations, design drawings and specifications, and perform construction administration tasks.
• Supervise work of other engineers and CAD technicians.
• Support work tasks in a team environment and help mentor and develop less experienced engineers.
• Assist with proposal preparation and contract reviews under the supervision of Principals.
• Prepare project work plans including tasks, staff time, and fee budgets. Control project fee budgets.
