Senior Operator

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum five years of experience of PP polymer process technology (preferable Spheripol, Spherizone technology)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible of following and apply PSM system /EHS compliances.
• Responsible for carrying out all field activities in case of: a. Pre-commissioning activities. b. Commissioning activities. c. Normal plant operation. d. Start up and shut down.
• Responsible for logging field parameters, sending samples to laboratory as per the schedule and sending extra samples as instructed by Shift Supervisor.
• Responsible for reporting any abnormality in field to his Shift Supervisor.
• Responsible for good housekeeping within his area in coordination with maintenance department or material contractor.
• Responsible for preparation of equipment for handing over to and taking over from maintenance department.
• Responsible for preparing Safety/ Routine Audit checklists in his area as per schedule.
• Responsible for the preparation of Catalyst, chemicals, and additive batches, ensuring adequacy of stock of the additives required for the day.
• Performs periodical physical materials inventories verification, as per guidelines.
• Assists Shift Supervisor/Lead Operator in performing miscellaneous jobs as warranted.
• Continuously monitors the operations of the plant in the field with the help of the lead operator and Shift Supervisor
• Monitor and operate equipment’s such as Compressors, Extruder, Blowers, pumps, valves, dewatering equipment’s, etc.
• Review SOPs and suggest the modifications.
• Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit’s service by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
• Performs minor maintenance jobs in the plant, as per requirement in the shift.
• Train and support new field operators.
• Support other operation activities in plant/unit.

• Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
