Philippine School Doha is seeking a qualified Secondary English/Research Teacher to teach English and Research subjects to junior and/or senior high school students following the Philippine K–12 curriculum. The ideal candidate will develop learners’ communication, critical thinking, academic writing, and research competencies while promoting creativity, collaboration, and ethical scholarship.

Secondary English/Research Teacher

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience required.
• Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree holder required.
• Must possess a valid PRC teaching license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in English, Language, Literature, or related field.
• Experience teaching English and/or Research subjects is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor students in academic writing and research projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with the Philippine K–12 curriculum for English and Research subjects.
• Teach grammar, literature, reading comprehension, writing, oral communication, and research methodologies.
• Guide students in conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects.
• Develop students’ critical thinking, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Encourage participation in literary, academic, and research-related activities and competitions.
