SCHOOL NURSE

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Nursing or similar fields.

Job Description:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices in school nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage health concerns and emergencies in a timely and professional manner

Employer Overview:

Islanders Education (IE) is the largest private education provider in the Maldives. In 2008, IE opened Billabong High International School and Kangaroo Kids Preschool, becoming the first to open a private International School in the capital city, Malé. In 2012, IE was awarded the largest education development project in the capital city – The Ameer Ahmed Education Project, that includes the development of community school, private international preschool and primary school as well as a teacher training institute. IE offers International educational programs from K-12. It is the master franchise of Kangaroo Kids Eduction Limited (KKEL) in the Maldives and offers the KKEL curriculum from Primary to Secondary. IE schools offer Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) for secondary.
