Rigger-1 (Aramco Approved)

Qualifications:

• Saudi Aramco Certified Rigger-I (Mandatory) – Valid and active certification.
• Strong knowledge of rigging/lifting procedures, load calculations, and crane operations.
• Familiarity with international lifting standards (e.g., ASME B30.9, LOLER).
• Ability to read lifting plans, drawings, and equipment load charts.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights, confined spaces, and in challenging environments.
• Strong communication skills; ability to direct a team and coordinate with other trades

Responsibilities:

• Execute rigging operations according to approved lifting plans, Aramco standards, and safety procedures.
• Select proper rigging equipment (slings, shackles, chains, spreader bars) and inspect for defects prior to use.
• Direct crane movements and communicate clearly with hand signals or radios.
• Perform risk assessments and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Tool Box Talks before lifting operations.
• Ensure that lifting gear is certified, tagged, and within inspection periods as per Aramco requirements.
• Lead and supervise rigging crews during critical lifts or complex operations.
• Coordinate with crane operators and lifting engineers to ensure alignment with load capacity and center of gravity.
• Maintain logs of rigging gear use and inspections.
• Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately to supervisors or safety officers
