Quality Controller (Coating Inspector)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 6 years work experience
• Working knowledge/experience in all phases and types of critical coating applications and methods.
• Holds CSWIP-BGAS 2 or NACE LEVEL 2 or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records.
• Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Verifying the correct use of specialized equipment for surface preparation and paint application.
• Inspecting and testing coating/painting equipment to ensure proper calibration and functionality.
• Conducting visual inspections of coated/painted surfaces.
• Prepare all necessary QA/QC painting/coating documents and handed over to client review.
• Check or monitor all paintings/coatings related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company procedure, client requirement and international code.

• Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
