QC ENGINEER WELDING

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Must have experience in Oil and Gas Experience in Abroad / Gulf Region.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a team of welders. Carry out inspection as per approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP),Project Specification and approved method statement.
• Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
• Managing welding procedure qualifications and generating welding procedures to help the manufacturing and welding teams.
• Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.
• Conduct daily welding inspections, carryout mechanical and QC clearance of hydro test packages. Prepare NDT drawings and finalise test packs;
• Incoming inspection of Project Materials; Controlling welding/painting repairs by taking corrective action.
• Review fabrication / erection, documents and work quality in terms of specification, workmanship and other variables as indicated in project documents and as per requirements of QC standard operating procedures and Customer specification
