Project Design Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• We are seeking an highly experienced mechanical Design Engineer Project development team with years project engineering experience in petrochemicals.
• PDC Teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best-in-class capital projects.
• PDC is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
• This will involve engineering design, procurement, and construction of various sizes ($), types and complexity of small, medium to mega projects

Responsibilities:

•  Lead the design and development of new or modified mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring functionality, safety, and adherence to all relevant codes and standards.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses to optimize equipment
• Support the procurement process by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Liaise with construction and operations teams to ensure proper installation, commissioning, and maintenance of designed mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with process engineers, piping engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within the overall plant design.
• Conduct technical reviews of design packages and specifications prepared by vendors or contractors. •
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budget control for assigned mechanical engineering tasks.
