PROCESS ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum  of 3 years work experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of process engineering principles, process simulation software (such as Aspen HYSYS or similar), and international codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME).
  • Cultural Acumen: Proven ability to understand and adapt to the specific communication and cultural practices of a corporate EPC environment like JGC. Prior work experience at JGC is highly desirable.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in checking and guiding the work of others, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to ensure the highest quality of engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Design & Review: Serve as the primary checker for all process engineering designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and company best practices.
  • Documentation Oversight: Review and approve critical engineering documents, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment data sheets.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring high-quality output and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Lead troubleshooting efforts for process-related issues during design and implementation, and identify opportunities for optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., Piping, Mechanical, Electrical) and project management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Vendor Management: Participate in the review and technical evaluation of vendor quotations and data, ensuring they meet project requirements
